When I first came to Crossroads, I was emotionally, physically and spiritually stressed and traumatized. I no longer knew my own body. I was losing weight rapidly while eating so much fast food, I almnst never prepared my own meals. I was experiencing panic attacks, muscle aches and pains and chest tightness. My sleep patterns were wrecked as well. It was only the Grace of God that I wasn't hospitalized.

I have been a patient of Crossroads since 2015. The holistic care I have received has been life changing - and that is NOT and exaggeration! Dr. Keen is the first doctor I had who truly paid attention to my body, and worked to help me heal. I thank God for this clinic and for Dr. Keen's wisdom and discernment in leading her practice and caring for her patients under the lordship of Christ.

In May 2023, I had had enough of period pain, and decided to get a hysterectomy in the new year. Before the surgery, I wanted to get as healthy as possible, so I started seeing Dr. Keen and Laura for nutrition support. We discussed the chronic, terrible pain I had endured for over 30 years. I had even ended up in the hospital with severe pain that only Morphine could help. For years, I experienced debilitating pain every 28 days that had me curled up on the floor, crying and asking God to make it stop. The symptoms varied from digestive problems to throwing up, severe cramping, brain fog and heavy bleeding. I also had anemia and could never get warm. Dr. Keen asked me to give her a year. Within 6 months, I had a period with noticeably less pain. I thought it was a fluke. The next month, I had one severe pain episode, but the rest of the period was manageable. The following month, I experienced substantially less pain. Over time, I had to relearn my pain threshold because of period pain PTSD. While I still have occasional pain, I don’t get the PMS symptoms I used to and I can manage my discomfort easily. THIS HAS CHANGED MY LIFE!

When I walked into Crossroads Family Chiropractic more than 7 years ago, I was weary. I had been through a lot medically, made a lot of changes to my lifestyle and habits, many of which brought some positive change, but felt like I just couldn’t keep up with the shifting sands of my body and mind. We started with regular chiropractic care and I so appreciated Dr. Keen’s passion not just for listening and caring for me, but also for educating me about how my body works. When she began practicing nutritional response testing, I was excited to be one of her first patients to experience it. Over the years, my health has had its ups and downs, but overall we progress through the “layers of the onion” for my holistic wellness and healing. I am so grateful for the compassionate and thoughtful way Dr. Keen partners with her patients.

When I first came into Dr. Keen’s office, I was a mom so frustrated & overwhelmed. My son’s behavior was out of control. His medical practitioners were blowing off serious questions that I had about his behavior and medical needs. As if pooping 6 times a day was normal?? I wish I could describe the comfort of walking into this office. It felt like home. When we implemented what she suggested, the differences were night and day for Luke. He was happier, less aggressive, and actually having real bowel movements again!! For the first time in a long time we had our kid back.

We have been working with Dr. Ashley for several weeks on delayed gross motor skills, like rolling and pushing up.
 Dr. Howe has been so attentive to all possible causes for Elsie’s delays and is very thorough and patient every time. At our most recent appointment, Dr. Ashley spent extra time with Elsie to really work out her tightness and examine additional possible causes for her delays. Just one day after our recent visit Elsie has had major improvements!! Her range of mobility in her shoulders has greatly improved, and she’s able to push up and hold herself much higher than before. We are so grateful for the care we receive at Crossroads and are excited to continue our journey!

I am so grateful for Dr. Keen and all the ladies at Crossroads. They have helped me through many things physically and emotionally. They truly listen to your complaints and they genuinely care about each individual patient.
 It is a far drive for us (90 minutes each way), but the level of care they provide is unmatched. When I came to Crossroads I was pregnant with my 4th baby and having quite a bit of pain. Dr. Keen and Dr. Howe were able to help ease my discomforts.
 After baby was born they continued to help us. Baby was born with a lip and tongue tie as well as some tight tissue.
 Dr. Keen was able to loosen the tissue and help us before his lip and tongue tie release. My 5th baby has some of the same issue as well as some digestive troubles that Dr. Keen has been working on.
 Those are just the "big" things that we’ve had addressed.
 My favorite thing about Crossroads, and a huge reason we won’t go anywhere else, is all the other things they offer. Their wide range of knowledge and their whole body approach is something you can’t find many places.
 When something comes up for our family they are the first ones I ask.
